Being Kind to Yourself Helps You Decide: Self-Efficacy, but Not Autonomy, Mediates the Relationship between Self-Compassion and Career Indecision

Previous research revealed that self-compassion supports career decision-making, but none have considered its relationship with career indecision. This study explored the relationships between self-compassion and career indecision among job seekers. Results showed that self-compassion was negatively associated with career indecision through the mediating effect of career decision self-efficacy.
