Hormonal Effects on Facial Emotion Detection & Recognition

Abstract
Research suggests that the ability to detect and recognize facial emotions is a skill affected by hormones, including hormonal medications and androgens. The two proposed studies examine associations between facial emotion detection/recognition and symptoms of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (study 1) and oral contraceptive use (study 2).
