An Exploratory Study on Gender, Objectification, and Body Image in a Fitness Center

In an exploratory survey of 405 individuals who had just completed a workout at a gym, we examined how objectification-related variables in the context of that workout correlated with body image variables. Additionally, we explored differences between those who did and did not exercise in a male-dominated weight room.
