Abstract
This study aimed to explore children's emotional experiences of the awareness of climate change using qualitative semi-structured interviews and their parents' perceived role through a questionnaire. Results suggest that children experience eco-anxiety and cope using emotion and problem-focused mechanisms. Parents perceive their roles as educators and models for action.
