Abstract

This study compared permissive beliefs about drug and alcohol use between past and current medical users of prescribed sedatives, nonmedical users of prescription sedatives, and non-users. Compared to nonusers, nonmedical and medical users endorsed more permissive beliefs about drug and alcohol use.
