Adverse childhood experiences can have lasting effects and have been linked to the development of personality pathology. This study explored the relationship between child maltreatment and cluster C personality disorder characteristics. Findings suggested that emotional abuse and neglect predict obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, with resiliency and perceived stress as moderators.
