Abstract
Social support is a key protective factor for psychological adjustment to trauma. We used a case-control design to test the impact of COVID-19 on social support and adjustment in patients adjusting to traumatic injuries. Although COVID-19 did not directly impact social support, social support was less protective during the pandemic.
