Mental Health Knowledge Reduces Mental Health Stigma Among Agriculture Students

Stigma associated with mental health symptoms decreases treatment seeking behaviors among agriculturalists. University agriculture students participating in a mental health advocacy program who reported more mental health knowledge also reported lower mental health stigma. Knowledge based interventions could reduce stigma and, in turn, increase help seeking behaviors among agriculturalists.
