The Relationship between Ability to Access Nature, Attitudes Towards Nature, and Affect

We examined how positive and negative affect related to exposure to, access to, and attitudes towards natural environments. Strong positive correlations for positive affect and strong negative correlations for negative affect were found for quality of and access to natural environments, sanctification of nature, and connectedness to nature.
