Abstract

Using driving videos (Exp. 1) and driving simulator (Exp. 2), this study firstly investigated the Subsequent Search Misses effect in dynamic driving scenarios and the influence of clutter. The result has strong implications for driving skill training, traffic rule making, and road design to increase drivers' awareness for road hazards.
