Relationship between Childhood Maltreatment and Emotional Intelligence Mediated By Stress Immunity

The current study examined the relationship of childhood maltreatment and stress immunity with emotional intelligence (EI). We hypothesized childhood maltreatment would associate with more EI, and stress immunity would mediate this relationship. Results indicated that stress immunity mediated the relationship between childhood maltreatment and EI.
