The Construction and Pilot Validation of a Learning Disabilities Bias Scale

Abstract
An attitudes toward people with learning disabilities measure was developed, based on the Capabilities framework and social model of disability (Burchardt, 2004). Exploratory factor analysis showed support for the hypothesized 3-factor structure. Construct validity was demonstrated through correlational analyses.
