Abstract

We conducted a cross-country examination of the effects of workplace age discrimination on employee career satisfaction and affective commitment between Chinese (N=463) and American (n=521) employees using multi-group Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analyses. Implications for future age discrimination research and management of an increasingly aging workforce are discussed.
