The Role of Sex, Trait Gender, Feedback and Type of Task on Male's and Female's Performance

Abstract
The study explored four factors in explaining differences in test confidence and performance: sex, trait gender, feedback, and task relevance. Males are not always more confident than females and females are not always more influenced by negative feedback. Trait gender influences the results and may explain differences in the literature.
