Abstract
Parallel mediation models were run to clarify whether the type of posttraumatic cognition can differentially account for the association between moral injury and posttraumatic stress disorder. Findings indicate that the cognitions related to the self and the world but not self-blame partially explain the association between moral injury and PTSD.
