White-Asians' Tiktok Advocacy: Creating Counter-Narratives to Anti-Asian Hate during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract
This exploratory study investigated how White-Asian individuals used TikTok to create counter-narratives to the increase in Anti-Asian hate during the COVID-19 pandemic. The content analysis of 43 videos posted by White-Asian TikTokers focused on assessing their ethnic identity salience, chosen audience, activism aims, as well as the coping methods represented.
