Influence of Models' Body Size on Women's Reactions to Clothing and Brands

This study of 205 college women examined associations between models' size and evaluations of the clothing brand, models and clothing. Women preferred size XS models to size Medium models and found the clothing more attractive on XS models. Women also engaged in more upward appearance comparisons with size XS models.
