Abstract

The present study proposes the construct interpersonal emotion differentiation, defined as the ability to differentiation other's emotional experiences (PEDiff). We looked at PEDIff, emotion dysregulation, and relationship satisfaction in couples using daily diary data. When experiencing greater emotion dysregulation, PEDiff had greater association with one's own relationship satisfaction
