The Influence of Food Allergies on Health-Related Quality of Life

Food allergies have become increasingly prevalent in the United States. 113 adolescents completed surveys measuring health-related quality of life (HRQOL). In the complete sample, adolescents with food allergies reported poorer HRQOL than those without. Among the 274 parent participants, those with a child with a food allergy displayed poorer HRQOL.
