Young Children's Understanding of the Affective Implications of Insight – a First Study.

Abstract
We investigate for the first time young children's understanding of the affective implications of insight in problem-solving scenarios. Children already at age 4 tended to understand that an insight leads to positive affect. However, the 4-year-olds did not distinguish between having an insight and having successfully solved a problem.
