"What They Said": The Influence of Social Conformity on Subjective and Physiological Indices of Motion-Induced Nausea

Abstract
Social conformity's influence on reports of health-related symptoms has not been extensively investigated. Participants who were led to believe others before them had experienced considerable sickness when stimulated ultimately reported significantly more severe nausea than those who were led to believe prior participants had reported few and/or relatively mild symptoms.
