Abstract
We content-analyzed male allies' workplace allyship experiences. Eight allyship behaviors emerged: advocacy, promoting social change, providing instrumental support, providing emotional support, acting as a social change agent, standing up to sexism, providing social support, and mentorship. Managers (n=45) and non-managers (n=40) differ in predictors of effectiveness of their allyship behavior.
