Abstract
We content-analyzed 192 male allies' tweets on Twitter about women's issues. Tweets were less likely to be liked/retweeted when they included a social support goal and a dependency-orientation. Men took the perspective of women more when their tweets included an autonomy orientation and a social change goal.
