Abstract

Episodic future thinking- the ability to imagine detailed, personal, and future-oriented events-was malleable in adolescents, as they were able to produce more episodic details after a brief specificity induction. This malleability did not differ based on suicide history, but greater anxiety and depression were associated with lower increases.
