Abstract
We examined the relationship between maternal and paternal helicopter parenting on disordered eating, potentially mediated by self-efficacy, self-control, and perfectionism. Self-control mediated the relationship between maternal helicopter parenting and disordered eating. The mediation was not significant for paternal helicopter parenting.
