Abstract
Missingness can profoundly impact the interpretability of within-subjects data. In this study, we introduce "Optimal t" as a means of improving statistical power at varying levels of missingness. Results indicate that while Optimal t does increase statistical power, that advantage is offset by somewhat elevated levels of Type I error.
