Abstract
A longitudinal study using country-level data (N= 160 countries) from 2009 to 2019 was conducted to test the role of affect in moderating the relationship between country's income and terrorism activities. Consistent with the affective coherence hypothesis, the findings showed that affective coherence facilitated and affective incoherence weakened the relationship.
