Emotional Intelligence and Personality Dysfunction Mediate the Relationship between Attachment Insecurity and Trait Aggression

A mediational model tested correlations between dimensions of attachment insecurity and a measure of global trait aggression among adults (MTurk workers). Higher levels of attachment avoidance and anxiety were associated with greater trait aggression, and effects were mediated by emotional intelligence and personality dysfunction.
