Abstract
Using a longitudinal dataset of 604 Mexican-origin adolescents, cumulative cultural strengths was calculated to examine how cumulative effects of strengths are related to growths in adolescents' resilience. Higher cumulative strength scores were associated with higher baseline, but slower growths in, resilience. We emphasize a cultural understanding of youths' positive development.
