The Effects of Demands-Abilities Fit on Task Performance and Turnover Intention Among Young Generation Newcomers

This study examined the effects of D-A fit in the dimensions of workload and job complexity on task performance and turnover intention. Data collected from 343 Korean newcomers aged 35 or less were analyzed using polynomial regressions. As abilities surpassed demands, task performance tended to increase, whereas turnover intention decreased.
