Abstract
Cross-class interactions in higher education are beneficial for students but do not occur less-frequently than expected. The current study explores the experience of cross-class compared to same-class interactions. Results highlight that conversation length and turn-taking are associated with positive evaluations in cross-class but not same-class interactions.
