Abstract
This study assessed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health in 2021 across 1222 U.S adults from a national longitudinal survey. Participants’ perceived impact of the pandemic decreased but remained high, which predicted more mental health concerns and lower decreases, especially among individuals with lower self-reported social status.
