Abstract
The dyadic influences of both parents' restrained eating on controlling food parenting (CFP) were examined. A parent with more restrained eating used more CFP (actor effect). A parent with more restrained eating had a partner who used more CFP, even after controlling for their partner's own eating (partner effect).
