Abstract

We examined whether anhedonia and fear of happiness were independently and/or interactively related to depressive symptoms in a preregistered study (N=379). Anhedonia and fear of happiness were independently, positively related to depressive symptoms; however, there was no moderation effect. Thus, these constructs may represent unique pathways for depressive symptoms.
