Effects of Color and Lighting Temperature on Mood and Cognitive Performance

We found that color and lighting temperatures had different effects on positive and negative affect, creative intelligence, reaction times, and accuracy in a randomized experiment. Positive affect was highest in cool color and warm lighting, reaction times were faster in warm lighting, and creative intelligence was higher in cool lighting.
