Abstract
Alcohol use and Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) are genetically-influenced. We used Genomic Structural Equation Modeling to find genetic correlations between life satisfaction and AUD, alcohol use, and a common alcohol factor were non-significant, positive, and negative, respectively. Thus, satisfaction shares etiology with typical alcohol use and dissatisfaction, with heavy use.
