Abstract
Across 7 experiments (N = 2,350), AMP effects were correlated with self-reports of prime influence even when influence was judged for third parties or primes were presented post-hoc; evaluatively extreme primes increased misattribution of AMP effects to target stimuli. These findings support the AMP's validity in measuring implicit evaluation.
