Abstract
Anxiety sensitivity has a significant a direct effect as well as indirect effects through pain catastrophizing and premenstrual symptoms on depression. Distress tolerance moderates the mediation of premenstrual symptoms. The implication is that anxiety sensitivity may underlie the core clinical features of premenstrual symptoms and pain catastrophizing.
