Abstract
Character development research has previously explored how character strengths develop across the lifespan. However, the current literature primarily studies predominantly white, middle-class students. This paper proposes evaluating the impact of family structure and parental warmth on character development with exploratory analyses of ethnic, socioeconomic, and gender differences.
