Abstract
In a large longitudinal dataset (IMAGEN, N>1300), we examined the complex network dynamics of mental health symptoms and substance use across three waves of assessment (ages 15-22). Use of different substances and symptoms predicted each other, while executive functioning (age 14) was an early risk factor for emerging psychopathology.
