The Thin Blue Lens: The Psychology of Police Camera Footage
Police departments have adopted body-worn cameras at a rapid pace. How might these recordings inform --or misinform-- our understanding of police interactions? Three talks highlight the uses of body camera footage in psychological research, alongside biases these recordings (and those viewing them) may introduce in legal decisionmaking.
