Experimentally Investigating Three Different Approaches for Increasing Help-Seeking Among People with Depression: Mental Time Travel, Savoring, and Narrative Transportation
Increasing help-seeking among people with depression can be challenging, as some attempts have backfired. This symposium presents results of investigations seeking to increase help-seeking among this population. Presentation #1 assessed the effectiveness of mental time travel; Presentation #2 sought to induce positive affect through savoring; Presentation #3 utilized narrative transportation.
