The symposium presents research on translating autobiographical memory and self-appraisal research into clinical interventions that aid in coping and therapeutic outcomes. Results are reported from the use of diverse autobiographical memory paradigms to enhance autobiographical memory for individuals with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
