Friday, May 22, 2020 · Virtual

Oral · General

This symposium elucidates novel insights from cultural psychology for motivating pro-environmentalism. Four papers situate the examination of intraindividual processes related to environmental protection (e.g., nature relatedness, environmental beliefs, religiosity, perceived social mobility, cosmopolitanism, present bias) in socio-cultural settings, showcasing how the study of culture can enrich understanding of environmental sustainability.
