Building a Strategy Toolbox to Enhance Self-Regulatory Success
Taking a multi-method approach, this symposium highlights research examining the effectiveness of different self-regulatory strategies, the benefits of having a greater strategy repertoire, and the ability to engage in flexible strategy use. Additionally, we examine how contextual and individual differences (e.g., motivation, conflict strength) determine strategy effectiveness.
