The Cultural Context of Autobiographical Memory and Identity

This symposium presents four studies focusing on the role of culture and the links between gender, identity, values, autobiographical memories, and life stories in samples from four diverse and understudied cultures, namely Taiwanese adolescents, Turkish immigrants to Denmark, different Trinidadian ethnic groups, and Nunggubuyu (i.e., an Australian indigenous population).
