An Epic Battle of Organ Donor Appeals at Dmvs: Altruism Vs. Efficacy Vs. Vested Interest--a Match, a Rematch, and Conceptual Replication
The persuasive approach guiding message development can dictate intervention effectiveness. This symposium presents a multi-year, multi-study design testing three different appeals against each other. Results of one experiment (MTurk) and three partially counterbalanced quasi-experiments conducted in eight DMVs will be presented. Actual organ donor registrations served as the outcome measure.
