Curiosity and Information-Seeking in the Laboratory and in Situ across Seconds, Days, and Millennia

Sunday, May 24, 2020 · Virtual

Oral · Cognitive

This symposium will present four contemporary perspectives on curiosity, each with a common focus on capturing the intrinsic information seeking associated with curiosity, but differing in methodological approach (experimental laboratory paradigms, qualitative research approaches to historical documents, and in situ ecological momentary assessment) and timescale of interest (seconds, days, millennia).
