The Promises and Pitfalls of Conducting Large-Scale, Multi-Site Experimental Science in Educational Settings

This symposium will outline several educational experiments conducted in authentic learning contexts, with an emphasis on the types of barriers faced when implementing research in an educational setting (e.g., institutional, legal, technological, and instructional). In addition, we propose several solutions to mitigating these barriers.
