Translating Transdiagnostic EMA Approaches to Emotion Regulation: From Measurement Fundamentals to Treatment Outcomes

We will present 4 EMA studies showing 1) the correspondence between trait and state emotion regulation (ER), 2) the structure and effects of ER on positive and negative affect, 3) how ER interacts with perceived effectiveness in DBT, and 4) how specific emotions relate to ER in Borderline Personality Disorder.
